LETTER FROM THE EDITORS
Dear Reader,
Ginkgo Magazine proudly serves as an exhibit for the talented academic and creative work of undergraduates from Susquehanna University, and we are ecstatic to present you with our 2025 edition.
This year, sustainability was at the forefront of our process, allowing Ginkgo Magazine to build on our established foundation an organization that can continue to grow for years to come. With that in mind, we have adopted a new logo this year, courtesy of Jennifer Martin. Similarly, in a decision that takes us back to our roots as a student-run blog, you can now access staff- curated informational content on our website’s new blog.
In a world where access to environmental literature is increasingly important, we invite you to explore the rhythm between the creative and academic works in our new edition. As “Condición Humana” embarks on a breathtaking exploration of the anthropocentric nature of humanity and “PFAs in Our Water Systems” delves into the dangers of manmade environmental crises, we consider the impacts our priorities create. Still,
in a present so saturated with unease, allow yourself a moment of respite as “Golden Hour from a Country Road” ruminates in a snapshot of uncharted and natural beauty.
We hope you enjoy our 2025 spring edition, available both on our website and in a limited print run. We must extend a special thank you to every contributor, from those who submitted their work, to those who worked behind the scenes, to those of you reading now. This edition would not be possible without your outstanding support.
