Our Executive Team

Managing Editor: Madeline Davis (she/her)

Madeline Davis is a sophomore Marketing and Advertising & Public Relations double major and the Junior Managing Editor. In addition to her involvement with Ginkgo, Madeline is also the Pubic Relations Manager for Best Buddies. She enjoys reading, antiquing, and writing.

Environmental Consultant: Emma Dickinson (they/them)

Emma Dickinson is a senior, majoring in Earth and Environmental Science with minors in Ecology and Environmental Studies. Emma is a cellist, an avid woodworker, and a proficient unicyclist. This year, Emma is completing senior research on black-legged ticks, aiming to provide valuable information regarding public safety and protection from tick-borne diseases.

Junior Environmental Consultant: Brodie Bard (he/him)

Brodie is a first year ecology major with a love of nature and conservation. He loves hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening, and randomly ID’ing plants. He has a weird fascination with beavers and wants to bind his photography hobby with his environmental passion as a future career.

Creative Works Editor: Avery Farrell (she/her)

Avery is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing and Editing double major. On campus, she is a part of Zeta Tau Alpha and serves on the executive council as VP Harm Reduction. She works as a student ambassador in the admissions office. Lastly, she is looking forward to this year and is very excited to be part of this amazing team!

Junior Creative Works Editor: Olivia Maciejewski (she/her)

Olivia is a sophomore Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major and is the Junior Creative Works Editor of Ginkgo Magazine. She is involved in SU’s music program as a non-music major, works at the library, and is one of the leaders of Delight Ministries. Olivia is excited to work with Ginkgo Magazine again, and see where the journey takes her. 

Academic Works Editor: Trinity Trimmer (she/her)

Trinity is a junior creative writing, publishing and editing, and music composition triple major at Susquehanna University with a minor in Honors. When she’s not studying with friends or stuck in a practice room, she enjoys running and going for walks along the Susquehanna River. Her favorite genres to write are fiction and memoir.

Junior Academic Works Editor: Jacob Henretta (he/him)

Jacob Henretta is a junior Ecology major with minors in Earth and Environmental Science and Honors. He is a member of the Sigma Gamma Epsilon Honors Society and is starting his research on species diversity within segmented and intact forests. In his free time he likes to fish, hike, and spend time with family and friends in the outdoors.

Social Media Manager: Joy Young (she/her)

Joy is a sophomore Publishing and Editing major with a Marketing minor, this will be her first year working on Ginkgo Magazine. When she’s not reading you can find her in the gym or studying with friends. She is excited to gain new experiences this year while working alongside an incredible team! 

Website Manager: Brianna Luby (she/her)

Brianna is a junior publishing and editing and Creative Writing double major with an English minor. Besides writing horror and speculative nonfiction, she also loves playing video games and spending time with her cat. She’s also the Vice-President of The Quill, a Student Ambassador, and an editor for Her Campus’s Susquehanna Chapter.

Secretary: Tyler Turner (he/him)

Tyler is a senior creative writing major with a preference for short-form fiction. He plays the viola for the Susquehanna University Symphonic Orchestra, and he plans to go into screenwriting after graduating.

Treasurer: Madasyn Criswell (she/her)

Maddy is an Accounting and Creative Writing double major from Lewisburg, PA. Maddy is a comic book enthusiast who has a Mini Schnauzer puppy and 2 pet parakeets. As a freshman, Maddy is excited to get involved with the magazine and plenty of other clubs on campus.
