Condición Humana
by: Alex Vidal Pérez
The recognition that mankind is all
but powerful is not enough to satiate
our fragile—and at times rotten—little
egos.
We have become too consumed by smoke
screens of capitalism, by the sick and twisted
grasp of technology to notice our missing
essence.
Deseo vivir en un mundo donde el ultimo
invento no requiera la explotación de
nuestros recursos naturales, la matanza
de nuestra tierra.
A world where man lives within trees and
wind, rather than computers and artificial
intelligence that plagues the society we
live in.
I wish we cared for our oceans with the same
frequency we go war—que nuestros espíritus
se vuelvan uno con nuestra madre infinita y la
cuidemos siempre.
To love loudly, to fight loudly, to care loudly
for our gentle Earth.
